Welcome back families! The Band Boosters want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and share what we do and how we support the STMA band programs and students.
What do the Band Boosters do for our students?
We support all levels of STMA Bands, from 5th-12th Grade.
Some ways that we have recently supported the Band Programs:
Supported Pep Band with Purchase of High School Pep Band Shirts and Music
Purchased the Middle School Band a Bass Drum Stand
Provided Pizza for Students at events (Iike Pep Band Homecoming Retreat)
Provided Food for Band Students at Pit Orchestra for the Fall Musical
Assisted costs for Clinicians, Special Guests, Concerts, and Honor Band Fees
Provide Food for Band Students at events (like Winter Concert)
Marching Band Program Support throughout the year
What are our planned fundraising efforts for in 2025-26?
Each year we host several fundraising events to continue to raise funds used to support the Band programs. This fundraising provides the ability to assist the band directors in many ways including the purchase of new equipment, instruments or
repairs, and having professional clinicians work with band students at all levels.
Some fundraising goals for this year include acquiring funds to purchase a new iPads and Music Stands for the Middle Schools, a new Keyboard for the High School, continuing to provide meals and treats for band students throughout the year, as well as supporting the Marching Band program. This is will be a trip year for the Marching Band so there will also be fundraising later in the school year to help students with trip costs.
We would not be able to support our band program without YOUR help! There are many opportunities to volunteer (as little or as much as you are able), with many opportunites throughout the year. If your student is in the High School they can earn volunteer hours when signing up to help at the events!
